Incorporated in 1915, on October 25th, Seal Beach is a popular beach community found in the westernmost corner of the county of Orange. Its neighbors are Long Beach and San Pedro Bay. To the southeast is Huntington Harbor, and Sunset Beach. A large part of the area of Seal beach is dedicated to the Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach military base, originally constructed during World War II. It was used for loading, unloading and storing ammunition of the Pacific Fleet and United States Naval warships. Today it is a popular tourist destination, known for is beautiful beaches and scenery.
