Home to over 23,800 residents, Cudahy is found in the southeast part of Los Angeles County. After Hawaiian Gardens, it is the second smallest city in all the county. But though it's small it has one of the highest population densities of any of the incorporated parts of the Country.
Cudahy is predominantly populated by Latino immigrants and has been since its founding. Along with its culturally rich history, it's been the home of several different manufacturing plants. Shortly after World War II most of the city's population worked at one of several plants, GM, Chrysler, Bethlehem Steel, and Firestone.
